Thinking about smaller gestural moments/rigidity of language/offerings/emotion as geographical < quoted from writer Bayo Akomolafe. This is an extract from some writing ‘I’ll say thank you forever’ made with wild clay I collected near my mum’s house in 2023 which was frozen in sea water from Arbroath whilst at Hospitalfield House. The text melted, gradually breaking apart and becoming in the process illegible. After, I took the melted remnants back down to the sea.
